Basenji

Known as Africa's 'barkless dog,' they produce an unusual sound resembling a yodel or chortle due to their unusually shaped larynx.

They groom themselves using their paws in a manner very similar to cats which keeps their short coats exceptionally clean and virtually odor-free.

The Basenji is the only dog that cannot bark; they 'yodel' instead.
